Another poem from the same time.
Roses are beautiful,
but they have thorns.
They prick you and hurt you,
but you love them anyways.
You try to pick them,
and they make you bleed.
We never learn our lesson,
so we keep trying to pick roses,
to bring a little beauty into our lives.
