I View the World Behind a Blade of Grass

I view the world behind a blade of grass
I am small, closer to the ground
I see the drops of dew upon its leaf
It shimmers in the morning sun

Shaped in the form of a sword
It's flexibility gives it strength
Unlike the world
Unable to adapt easily to changes

I fall upon the earths floor
These blades of grass bear my weight
Yet never cease to exist
For they know that just a blade would never prevail

I am just one small blade of grass
Surrounded by significant others
Who will either bear the weight
Or be trampled underfoot
