Holding on to the past, and not allowing yourself to move forward.
Letting go with pain in heart
The pain is slow
The pain is sharp
Holding on to what is void
The void that never fills with joy
I tend to keep all that is faded
Old and rusted
New's hardly created
I must let go
I'll never breathe
The sullen anguish
I'll never reach
The dream that only comes to view
Then I let go
The dream came true
