You will see that my father is always an "inspiration". Even if it is a bad one.

Here I am
Years down the road
Writing this story that's been untold.

Once upon a time
There was a little girl
Who loved her daddy so
He was her world
Laughing and taking pictures
She could count on him
To make her smile
When reality seemed to dim
Now years later
She's a young lady
Flashbacks haunt her
She realizes what was shady
Years ago she moved
The lawn was getting high
He didn't come see them
That's when he said goodbye
I don't want to talk
Is what he said
No reason at all
He made his bed
She cries and cries
But he doesn't care
No room in his heart
For the one that was there
She wants him to know
How strong she is
But her heart is missing
The father piece that belongs to him
I wish I could say
This is happily ever after
But the father-daughter relationship
Is now a disaster.
