Shakesperean sonnet, other than that the title says it all. Enjoy!

Advice for a Hero-In-Training

It’s plain to see your heart is light for now.
What youth! It warms my soul, your smile to see.
But sadly, lad, the road you travel down,
Is not as smooth as you think it will be.
Oh yes! There will be reasons to rejoice,
For many victories your sword will buy.
But don’t forget that evil has a voice,
Seductive as the sirens’ lullaby.
If ever you should stumble get back up.
Oh yes, a lot of stumbling you will do.
But every time you think you’ve had enough
Somehow you’ll find the strength to pull on through.

So laugh with merry hearts and worry none,
It all will be quite clear when you are done.
