Epitaph In Memory of Tina Rae Hunter
by Tina Rae Thompson

A lost soul wandering through the endless forest of time
Losing hope, faith, and strength of the mind
Hoping maybe today he'll come to end this pain
But disappointed she sees only the suffocating rain
That drowns out hope, love, faith, and strength of life
She doesn't notice the cold hand of Death around her wrist
She doesn't mind being led down the path of souls
For now she has nothing to lose not after he hurt her
But just before the gates close behind her
A voice cuts through the dense fog of oblivion
Bringing her back to her friends and family
Now she has cheated Death and grows stronger every day
Exactly eighty years today she now goes willingly
Embracing Death like a long lost lover
She is not called back for her life has been without regrets
