Random poem
The metal blade bites my skin,
Reliving all the pain within.
Hot tears drip down my cheeks,
My life feels so empty, so bleak.
One day you will wish you had stayed,
By then it will be too late.
I’ll be gone far away,
One with the night and the day.
Rising with the sun, falling with the moon.
The day is done,
Night is near,
That alone should fill you with fear.
Fear of the unknown,
Fear of being left alone,
Alone in the dark with a breaking heart.
But, then again you probably wouldn’t care at all.
You probably not care if I was done,
You’d just move on to another one.
Some scars we hide,
Some we just can’t
They remind us of the mistakes we’ve made,
Of the times we were too late.
Things we should have said,
Things we should have done,
Well they are just another one.
Another reason to fade away,
Another reason not to see a new day
