A story of love overcoming something as horrid as drugs.
All alone was I,
Trapped inside my own depraved mind,
Falling so far down,
Below the bottom line.

Stumbled to the mercy
Of ecstacy needles
And miracle smoke.
I strayed so far from the path.

But then you came along.
You were my angel in hell,
You were the light at the end
Of my pitch black tunnel.

"Together," you whispered in my ear,
"We'll shred these demons apart."
And as I watched in amazement,
You stepped forward to face the devil himself.

I snapped, broke in a million pieces.
"I can't do this anymore!" I screamed.
On my knees and begging for mercy.
Oh, how desperately I craved that miracle smoke.

You were a beautiful doll
And I was just some smelly fool
In for a lifetime of misery,
Victimized by something horrendous.

And then this charming doll
Showed me how to live,
How to forget my dismal past,
How to soar to the moon.

You showed me love
Can overcome any obstacle.
Together, you and I
Can do anything.

Dear, how could I ever repay you?
Give you as much as you gave me?
You delivered me a reason to keep going
Just when everything nearly stopped...

Right in its tracks.
