A short poem about a certain day i reveled in.
Cooling wind swept in refreshing our skin

Sun staring into her eyes, reflecting deep within.

I felt weightless as though i could fly away,

with a light breeze, blowing no leaf where it

lay.

Eyes, i'd never seen so radiant. Eyes, glowing

from suns twinkling. Eyes, i fell into and have

yet to climb out of.

Peace was there, and here her restful soul was,

full of life, the noise of quiet beauty rang.

A day, that day, showed my sorrow wrong,

brought forth joy to me. Now, every minute

passing beneath the trees, shade upon shade

continuously, i wait on another day

with her.
