Halloween fun
Remember the storm
With high gusts of wind?
A large group of skeletons
Were caught within
The gusting gales
And drenching rain.
They’ve all been found
And assembled again.
The bones were all scattered-
it was a sight!
By day they’re a mess
But they’re okay at night.
The foot-bone is resting
Where the skull should be
And the nose-bone is now
a stable right knee.
Some of their jaws
Are permanently closed,
On top of their heads
Are fingers and toes.
It’s spooky, you know,
But they’re sure to be seen
In a lot of newspapers
This Halloween.
