The sense of love as love should be...free from everything else...

It matters not the hands that touch
The places you claimed long ago
Every nook, every ridge is yours
Without the need of a daily union
My lips burn under his but
The implications he never understands
Because this body belongs to you alone
And beyond a point, I do not care

He feels but I can only think
Of your tongue, your skin, your beauty
He loves but you exert a right-
You wrote your name here long ago
And every other thing brushing past you-
The wind on its way over continents
The hands that touch yours everyday
The pricking thorn, the bramble bush
-bear no meaning beyond the understanding
That all of you and all of me
Is twined together eternally
Not unbending, nor seeking less
Than the attainment of love as love should be

No need to wonder about the words
Or hide each other as weaknesses
But only to say, if only to show
One another how we’ve lost control

The fact that I sit alone today
And have no one to ask about you
While you mingle with people-
People who have no right over you
-no right to have your eyes boring into them
No right to watch your perfect feet move
No right to see your long fingers together
The one you so skillfully use
No right to see your elated smile
No right to see your frowning brow-
This fact proves that we belong
Because there were no gaps; only
One long, forever continuing dialogue
Of harmonious thoughts; a single emotion-
Cold, logical but of the brightest love

They may destroy you; I want them to
They may enjoy me; all I have is you
They may embrace me; I will feel your touch
They can go so far and claim so much
But no matter how hard they try
They cannot subdue that single cry-
That soundless symphony arising from the friction
Of our souls in another world-
Your name trembling on my tongue’s tip
Your name burning like a solid flame
Your name- only mine to claim

So selfishly, so unflinchingly
I sat until I saw the creek
The single, piercing, joyful smile
I gave to you the delight
That comes from knowing the depth of love
An endless sea of pain I bore
Of longing, loneliness, silent, overbearing torture
All in the name of your emphasized talent
I set out to die but on the way
I learnt I care enough to never care
About the things people would say
Because this road that leads from over them
Ran straight into your solid arms
Without fear or justification
