I tried to show that emotions change and will change no matter what, like the seasons.
Emotions are the seasons of your heart
They hurt you
They heal you
They change without anyone's consent

The scorch of summer is your anger spilling over
To yell and yell until you feel the sun's heat dim

Sadness is the spike of winter chill
As it numbs your soul with salty water

The feeling of pride is jumping in autumn's painted leaves of red, orange and gold
To roll and roll in the praise of your peers

Forgiving is the rebirth of spring
As you welcome apologies and bring back bare winter trees
