A child doesn't need to choose his friends because of a trait he/she has.
Once upon a time,
There was a mouse.
A very brave mouse,
And a very shy mouse.

Once upon a time,
There was a dog.
A very loyal dog,
And a very playful dog.

Once upon a time,
There was a snail.
A very slow snail,
And a very confident snail.

Once upon a time,
There was a child.
Who had met the mouse, the dog and the snail
And who realized
That in each animal,
There was a part of him.
He was shy and yet brave, loyal and yet playful, and slow and yet confident.
And that he needn't choose from them to find a friend
Because they were all a part of him.
