Drawn by choice....I flee?
Hints of a curse
Lay strong on me.
Or maybe worse;
A conspiracy.

I smile on cue
But inside, weep.
What I think and do
Don’t match, indeed.

A still, calm voice
Says come to me.
Come to me…

Drawn, by choice,
....I flee??

Hints of a curse
Has me all confused.
Walked this far on this earth
With the eyes of a fool.
