A tale of child turned to adult-realizing the long lost love for mother
An ounce of grief can wipe out a ton of joy
While a drop of bliss can blemish an ocean of sorrow
Symmetrical is the shape of the void
When all your senses are empowered

So jewelled is the heart made of clay
Functional - the soul with a hole
Our skin a guise - gracious display
Our partial vision makes us whole

So confirm your existence with your expressions
Offer no resistance in bouts of depression
For it is when you are truly low
The depth of your being is least shallow

And challenge your mind –
Fear not of all that you may find
For when your moral twine is perfectly aligned
Only then can you replicate the divine

For we all seek the womb of God
The celestial cradle
Yet how foolishly we are awed
To know that we are enabled

Enabled to give and to take
To slumber and to awake
To give life and death a chance
To make it rain without a dance

We have come so far yet we’re still so lost
In this journey bestowed upon us
We have conquered and we have failed
As we seek our Holy Grail

So love your mother and remind her more
That she has a child
Whose love is real and is pure
Expand her life with a smile

For when the gates collapse and the trumpets blare
Nobody but she will be there
She is pure - she is broad
She is woman –
She is God
