A poem I wrote a while back ago
Simple luster that shines like Gold
and complex buildings that are new and old
when they tell all to do as they're told,
beauty shines out of their hold.

Mother said not to stray too far
I didn't listen, now see these scars.
Scarlet red and plain in sight
it gives most people quite a fright.

But don't be fooled, you mustn't listen to everyones' word
be different and stick out of the herd
when they say look west be sure to look east, that path shines.
too much obedience can leave you blind.

But obedience is the path to choose with what you know
but you must not let them choose who you will be.
You need to like you for who you are for your health.
Denying the truth and denying yourself leads you nowhere.
