Just a little random something to help me get out of a writer's block.
The games we played and never won.
Memories past have just begun.
Again we ride this broken carousel
To catch what was lost, we fell.

A shift of time, the light is fading.
Dive deeper than you've ever gone,
To prove what you've been parading.
This rotting corpse is what is donned.

Again to shift.
We've hit a rift.
Here's the gift.
All I've ever given.

Any more and you'd have my life.
This love I give, I know it's right.

Shift.

Watch the world fall on this starry night.
Wake tomorrow, hang on for dear life.

Shift.

It's dark inside, and they're all dead.
Whispering footsteps all in my head.

Shift.

Born again to be without you.
This time will be better, I think.
This time will be better, I say.
This time I won't lose, it's true.
