Your smile gives me shivers
up and down my spine
Your blue eyes look like shooting stars
from the night sky
You talk with your friends
and I can't help but stare
Why don't you notice me?
Why can't I be with you there?
Looking at you leaves me hopeless and in despair.

I've know you for years,
since we were in grade two,
And now, ten years later
I've shed too many tears,
too many tears over you.
But you don't know,
You don't see it.
You don't see how I love you so.

Graduation, this day has approached quickly.
I see you with your parents, looking at me.
But the truth of the matter is I don't care for
I have given up, you see,
I have stopped trying to get you to notice me.
I am moving on to find a better person,
one who will notice my love
and return it to me.
One day you will regret this,
You just wait and see.

Four years later I am madly in love.
I have found the person I have been dreaming of.
We share the same interests and views and beliefs,
he tells me I am beautiful, and we get along well.
Tonight he told me this as he pulls out a ring and
gives me a kiss.
Marry me? I hear and I become speechless.
I looked into his brown eyes, they looked like shooting stars from the night sky
He smiles at me and a different shiver crawls up my spine.
I say yes, as I turn to him he says,
I love you forever and I always will.
I know he will never leave me hopless and in despair,
for he cares,
unlike other crushes who turn out to be jerks,
just wait and life always has its perks. ;)
