This is a poem I wrote after my return from rehab. It is about pill addiction.
Opiates release to seduce the brain..
Sprinkled on the lobes to reduce the strain..
Early return notice..
For all new releases..
Just follow the stream,
Of indecent procedures.

Opiates return,
Here's your key note speaker.
Resound from left lobe to create
new leaches.
Electro shock therapy seems to be the trend.
A simple way to force your feelings to end.

Take thorough notes on what should be done.
Before you know it all your wins will be one.
The echo will form and slowly dissipate,
its truly inglorious to reduce your heart rate.

Opiates return but only once more.
This time there's no exit pointing to the door.
The hairs on the skin crawl inside the vein,
Clogging the arteries,
there's no time to explain.

Heart rate reduce, increase, its the same.
The resounding change of pulse ignites,
now the right lobes insane.

You'll scream and you'll cry.
No one will reply.
The end is inevitable.
Take more pills to comply.
