My experience with pies
There's nothing I like better than a piece of apple pie.
When I pass one in the store it'll always catch my eye.
Whether it's plain or with a touch of cinnamon spice,
either way they make it, makes me feel like a slice.

I work at Wal-Mart and saw a pie in a little box,
I just had to buy it and you know,it really rocks.
The next day I went to buy another, I saw one that was peach.
This is one of my favorites also and was in my easy reach.

So I went an picked the peach pie up and put my money down.
My mouth began to water, looking at the crust so golden brown.
I rip open the package an stuff it in my mouth,
knowing all the calories are going to head south.

When I go back on the third day, I see an eclair pie,
another of my favorites has gone and caught my eye.
Just like the other pies at lunch, I toss it down my throat.
I eat it up so fast you'd think I was a nanny goat.

I've been wondering lately why I haven't lost much weight,
I thought maybe if it could be something that I ate.
When I tell people this story, they just look down at my gut,
then look me in the eyes and ask me if I'm some kind of nut.
