A polars first step into life.
                             Little Polar Bear
         
                   The chill of the North Pole awakens her from sleep.
                             Her eyes shine and her white fur glows,
                   She takes her first step; the memory she will always keep
                             She yelps for joy, walking on those twinkle toes.
                   Running as her mother grins with glee.
                             Goodbye Little Bear. And, there she goes
                                       Into May’s intricate snow.
