Just something I felt like writing today.
I write to you at a young age. Age is defiant to wisdom. Struggles with obese temptation stir my youthful desires. Wisdom beyond age must be apprehended and the adventure of the world takes its place. I am a man of faith. My faith is never ending. My heart is with the lord. Yet, I choose to challenge the world. Wrong, I ask myself? Yes, I answer. Once again I state, youth is defiant to wisdom. Mama told me, Daddy scorned me, Grandparents just love me but, I maintain the balance of a good son and a Marine. Knowing your sin or shall I say controlling your sin, is one in the same. I am but just a man. The unknown creek, I must flow. The almighty river idles far away. Knowing eternal life makes me walk the cliff. Will this haunt me? I stand on the edge to find out. Wisdom keeps the ground under my feet. Yet, temptations can’t stop my eyes for searching. I know although knowing doesn’t hinder my actions. This is youth. This is me. Will love guide me to the straight and narrow? Yes I answer. God’s love is here. Yet, my adolescences says only a women’s love can lead me. True love I yearn. The memory of my first, stirs this emotion. Wild my sprit becomes and temptation arouses. Help me dear lord. I am but just a man, a young man.
