on courage

What if I were blind?
I might listen better to the
voices around me.

What if I were strong?
I could roll with the
punches thrown at me.

What if I were brave?
I would embrace the
path before me.

Will I know the way?

For those who ask:
This is a free verse "what if poem" -- begins each stanza with the question "What if...?" and then follows pattern: I might, I could, I would; last line is a single line question relating all stanzas and refering back to the title.
