a darker one...
As I am looking through the glass
I fear what is to come to pass;
a rocky slope, you’re soon to fall,
your blood red stains upon us all.
Barely conscious, but not alone,
upon these rocks, upon this stone.
The glass will crack, the glass will break
and with it now, my life you’ll take.

As I am pounding on the glass,
my worse yet pain has come alas,
A voice is pleading in my head,
a voice that’s speaking in your stead.
My hands are raw, my throat is dry.
You have to stop, but you don't try.
And now I will stop breathing too
while shaking to the core for you...

When I was searching through the glass,
my worse yet fears did come to pass.
I cannot save, I cannot heal,
a burden now, is all I feel.
I lacked the strength to change your course,
the glass then shattered with a force.
You shut your eyes, but I did see
your self-fulfilling prophecy.
