It's 'bout sbd who's in a mental state of despair & is remembering her lover to stay sane.
As I sit here waiting,
Rain washing me away,
My existence remains unknown
The rain itself hides my tears
And I sing my life away
In a melancholic tone.

Ice all around me,
Around my dying heart,
Stealing me soul away,
Keeping us apart.

My world has turned upside down,
Darkness everywhere, all around.
Is it me? What have I done
To deserve a life like this, my dear?
A life of misery, a life of hate,
A life of eternal-lethal-fear.

I can only hide within myself,
Where you are there to save me,
Where your memories can soothe my mind,
Banish my fears, set me free.

Memories are a wonderful thing,
No matter if they're past,
No matter if they're gone,
The events will forever last,
In our minds, they'll go on and on.

Your presence is all I need
To keep my heart beating,
To keep my blood flowing,
To keep my mind intact
And forget about the fact
That I'm sitting here, waiting
For the rain to wash me away,
Remove my existence from this world,
For I'm all out of reasons to stay.
