animals shouldnt be locked up...
It stands behind the wire of the cage
Holding its slim and beautiful neck
The folded lond tail held carefully in balance
On two normal feet
It raises its head and looks at the sky
Where the sun is hidden by white clouds
It opens it bright jeweled tail and Oh!
What a beautiful sight to behold on this day
A beautiful sight on this perfect day
But not for it at all, not for it indeed
For it has seen better days in the jungles green
Where many other peacocks and animals roam free
This one beauty in the cage
Will stay until it dies of age
In the solid walls built by man
Where one can only dream of being free
