General thoughts of my worth and place
Who am I?
When the sun has set
And criminal said his alibi
When the day is dead
When the mind is heavier than led

Should I gaze from top to top?
Staring at those that cannot stop
Those cherishing no form of rest
Who do not take time to stop and digest

Who am I? The porter or preacher
The madman or disillusioned teacher
Do I choose my destiny?
With fate in my hands like waves on the sea

Perhaps the artist with excess paint
I’ve expressed my colours
Have no creative restraint
On evolution I have no restraint
Restriction is eradicated at my mind’s gate

And though the hobo falls from wall
Still stands taller than the most tall
For his choice isn’t grace or pride
But live life wherever he decides

Who am I?
Goat of a great sacrifice?
Bending low before the knife
No care of my burden
For each slice I ease a burden

Surely I am no saint
No one, who God won’t taint,
Only to exist like fiend
Acting lechery and always keen

Who am I? A poet or a pang
I lack profound words to hoist
Only my name to hang
I should cease this my flow
Quit while ahead and hide what I know
