Once our innocence is lost we could never have it back.
Lost Innocence

I tried to wash the filthiness
Underneath the shower’s rain
I scrubbed and scrubbed
But it remained

My skin was tainted with lust
Sinfulness covered me
I was tangled in webs and webs
Of shame

Condemned by my actions
Secretly placed
Deep within my chest
I cried

He and I had fallen
Figured pleasures ways
But after it had all passed
Guilt with me remained

Underneath the showers rain
I touched my dirty skin
No soap could ever wash away
His fingerprints
