How I felt when I came home, everyone was there but I felt completely alone.

The welcome home
Through gritted teeth
Their bleeding smiles
And eyes of grief
The hollow disappointment
With every word
The false laughter
That can't be heard
Their shameful emptiness
That fills the room
The deceiving lights
That mask the gloom
The cold warmth
That burns the face
The welcome back
To the empty space
