love you always wish for
It was dusky and moonlit

When I took a stroll

down the lovers' lane;

A lane which was straight

And lined with palm-tree.

Yes, it was the lover's lane.

It was breezy and lovely.

With every step that I took,

With every stride, I felt at peace.

Yes, it was the lover's lane.

Couples both young and old

strolled along

With hands linked together,

Heads on shoulder,

Arms round waist,

Each whispering the heart out.

"I love you," I heard;

"Marry me," he said;

They were at peace,

Love being the soul link.

suddenly I heard the moan,

Glancing I saw the clasp

Clasping and kissing.

A kiss it was

But too much of a kiss;

To me it was two magnet

Attracting,

A passionate lovers' kiss

But not the kiss of life

Gently I turned

To attain a new fragrance,

A fragrance it was

As if the perfumes of France

Had met:

Eau de cologne, so sweet a scent,

Sabrina, so lovely,

Sweet the air was,

I felt like staying where i was

Fast strides i took

To escape the lovers' lane,

For I was alone and all amazed

Next time I come

I come not alone

For I will surely come

With a handsome man.
