My First 55 Word Story
Blackness shrouded our minds as howling demons surrounded the cabin.  Never before had fear seemed so lucid.  The stories told all week were suddenly true.  The last tear I would ever shed hit the ground.  Our smart friends had left, those of us still here no longer thought we were brave.  Death felt no pity.
