a poem for a friend of mine written in their perspective
I know I've made mistakes,
Yes, I know I've made a lot,
But the fire burning inside of me
Is no longer burning hot.

You must know by now,
That my heart is cold and dry,
Not how like it used to be
When I could almost fly.

I know that you have left me,
Yes, I know it's true.
But as long as you're happy,
I just know you'll make it through.
