Not my best work... But to some may like it...
Our voices cry in pain and sorrow,

But fall deaf to the woes of 'morrow.

Knowledge, for all it's power,

Fails to lighten darkest hour.

Angels laugh at our dark plight,

But they are silenced by the light.

The light the proves the end is nigh,

And though it's futile, they do fly.

They fly to try and save their souls,

And the judging light pierces holes

In their sinning perfect skin.

From below, the guilty grin.

We cannot be judged for our time was far too short

To understand the mysteries far too difficult to sort.

We do not understand quite why,

But it's not important not to die.

A wasted soul will surely be crammed,

With the hopeless, helpless, and damned.

But a soul consumed to understand,

Will be given reign of the new land.

The judging light has made its call,

And back to Earth the people fall.

The Angels, in their fearful flight,

Are banished to eternal night.

The Angels mocked us for so long,

And yet we honored them with song.

With tribute, love, and deep trust,

Though they watched our misery with such lust.

Alas, the favor was returned,

Our lives, after years of being spurned,

Will be allowed to live harmonic

Risen from the ashes of the Angels Demonic
