Black.Light.

Heavy eyelids are
the shades being drawn over
a white lotus land,
where
nocturnal fireflies
are Chinese flying angels,
trapped inside lanterns at night.
And
static electric
sparks are bright blankets of heat,
forming lightning in the dark.

Here,
meteorites and
constellations
are seen in blackness,
and
at the end of the day,
become a pearl white nightgown hanging
over one half of the world.
