I really liked this girl and wrote a poem about losing her to someone else...
O’ coldly winter’s heart that ancient torture gives.
Darkness, pain, torrential regret
No souls in sight, no lingering fight – how tormented I live.
Awakened with Nightmare’s sweat

Worlds would have crumbled and kings lowly humbled
But for the chance of our love
Darest we took the plunge, not falling but yet stumbled.
No mercy from one above

How could this be? Sealed surely was our future, but one was not of mind
The other whose path did block ours cold, when time did intertwine.

But for the sake of Cronos’ law,
blissful lives would we share
Meeting we now our only flaw;
no matter that we care.

Anger and pain
And sadness remain
When lost in emptiness dark
Alone in a storm,
No thoughts could I form,
Summoning nay not a spark

Cruel temptress love, with visions twist my head,
Will emptiness be my bride?
No matter I’ve bled, my heart is but dead
Her word I’ll solemnly abide

Yearn do I now for Spring’s love half grown
And younger thoughts do I miss
But for the First, this heart I would own
And warmly tenderest kiss

Alone once I was; alone will I be?
A chasm lies between
An angel’s kiss once set me free
Is doom now what I see?

Melodious harp, do play Cupid dear
Unlock time’s binding hands
Truest heart find with arrow’s spear
My soul beckons with me she stands

Stand here I wait to hear the flight
Of arrow or of love
One sound draws pain and one delight
I’ll know which soon enough.
