Sometimes mother and son don't always clique
Mom, do i get on your nerves because
i act like my dad? Yes! Said with no remorse
no feelings or pain. But said with an attitude, stone cold
straight face.To go along with that, can't forget the lies.
What hurts me the most is the truth lies
inside. Just like so many other people the truth
spills out with cries. Mother may i have your respect. no.
Mother may i be excepted for who am. no. Mother
may i stop acting like my dad. yes. Do i love her do i like her.
Hard to tell, hard to make a decission through all the hell.
To live out those emotions you must be loved back.
Ask questions to her face, but she's lost in space. I'd hate to annoy
her. I only want to explore the reality of life, but all we do is fight.
Mother may i have your respect. no. Mother may i be excepted for
who i am. no. Mother may i stop acting like my dad.
yes. If every question to my answer is no, then why bother.
So i know something when i get older so i'm not trash. Except to the lady.
It's like living with hades. If you can't stand me give me up.
I'll do better on the street, with a tin cup. Put me in a home with a different family.
Won't be the same, but atleast someone will love and care for me.
If that what it takes for YOU to be free, then i'm forever locked up and sold
to slavery. Mother may i have your respect. no. Mother may i be excepted for
who i am. no. Mother may i stop acting like my dad. yes. Mother... may... I...
GONE!!!
