The smallest changes can sometimes do so much damage...
the rhyme is a bit off, i know. if your reading all my poetry, the order is very confusing but if you wanna know the whole story message me or read all the poems and try to put it together.

In my life,
I’ve seen things end.
People leave.
Promises bend.

Countless tears are often shed,
as people start to change their mind.
I wish I could find the button
To simply make it all rewind.

So I’m swept along,
A leave in the tide.
From this storm, these winds of change
I can never seem to find a place to hide

Care for me one day,
Not the next.
Nothing constant.
Nothing passes the test.

You swore to me,
You’d always be there.
But now it seems,
You have not a care.

I know that things can change.
I understand that people move on.
But how can I not miss,
My one solid ground to stand upon?

So now I feel it crumble.
I was once so strong.
I’m again so humble.

Never should have let you in so deep.
Should have known the good can’t keep.
Never should have shown my trusting side.
So again that I’ll have to hide.

Reading this,
You may feel blamed.
But I beg of you,
Please don’t feel ashamed.

Keep yourself happy.
I bring this upon myself.
Should have known,
I’d be put on a shelf.

This is better though.
Less conflict we could cause.
But still I wish,
That I coulda hit the pause.
