What agony feels like.
She feels
Nails dug into her back,
Ripping her flesh;
Skin parted with spine.

Thousands of daggers
Thrown at her chest,
Pinned to her heart.

Ice in her body
That hits her like fire,
Licking her insides,
Searing her flesh,
But not a trace of warmth.

Pins with poisoned tips,
Poisonous acidic tips-
That burn holes in her skin

Hot irons at every touch,
Trapping her,
Torturing her to madness
Scorched fingers
Forcing their way through her chest;
Taking her heart and ripping it in two.

Every night
Such agony surrounds her.
She doesn't tell anyone.
She holds it all in,
In her cold, dead self.
The only way of letting go
Is with her tears and sentences.
