Explained to me by an old friend, of how I looked after a break-up...
She stands just inches
then twitches
out an ackward smile
staring forward at you.
She's damaged...
you can tell
but in such a beautiful way.

Yes, she's beautiful
with a broken heart
and a tear stained cheek.
She will get to you
as her make-up runs
and your knees go weak.
