Kids are so unpredictable!
Telling me to
grow up and act
my age. Telling me
not to stick that up my nose
or shove that in my mouth.

Telling me not to
make mud pies and
tell grandma its freshly made.
Don't hold sharp things
they'd say.

Don't do this nor that.
That's all I hear.

If that's so why is
mommy holding an ice pick
and daddy just did a magic trick
where he shoved milk up his nose.
And why is grandma sleep walking?

Adults laugh at us kids
for being silly, but
if you as me their the
silly ones.
