She had been getting away. She was sure. So why was she dying?
         She was full of pain-
                   -(painburningstabbingrippingtearingbloodpain)-
-and she had been running and-
-(please don't let the monsters get me, pleasedon'tletthemonstersgetme) -
         -she had been getting away-
-(she was sure, SURE, but WHY was there STABBING) -
-slowly, but surely. Her footsteps had splashed in the water at the bottom of the corridor-
-(it was wet, but the burning, makeitstopmakeitstopmakeit MAKE IT) -
-but now her feet were not moving. She was stuck, a prisoner-
-(in her own mind, alone with the tearing, alone in this world where everything was washed red) -
-unable to escape. She struggled, struggled until-
-(the blood. Redslicksweetbitterlifeflowing FLOWING down) -
-she gave up, letting sharp needles of pain stab her body. She lets her body go limp and-
                   -(i'mnotherei'mnothere, please god, don'tletmebehere) -
-something that might have been a whimper curls pathetically from her throat. Dazedly, she realizes that-
-(she's dying, she's really dying! Or, is she already dead) -
         -she still isn't sure-
                   -(whywhenwhatWHYHER) -
-how this happened. She doesn't dwell on it long because she has to fight it-
-(but won't. they knew. Knew she nevernevernever) -
-but she doesn't know what she's fighting and she thinks-
-(it was really a lost cause anyway) -
-that she knows what it's like to be truly alone. And,-
-(she's knows it's sick that she wants this)-
-she lets the lights go out.
                   (Forever.)
