The Hearts unspoken words
Unspoken
By: Katie Lady

My heart is hiding from you,
Though my conscience tells me to speak;
My heart won't share the truth.

When your touch sends currents through me,
I get scared and look away;
My heart is hiding from you.

Your eyes glisten like the morning dew,
Asking me about my thoughts;
My heart won't share the truth.

I listen to you speak of feelings so new,
Smiling at me for understanding;
My heart is hiding from you.

You question if I feel this emotion too,
While we walk along the grassy hills;
My heart won't share the truth.

I fear what I should confess to you,
As you stare into my eyes patiently;
Why is my heart hiding from you?
My heart won't share the truth.
