High school is very hard on some kids, full of harsh experiences.
I am witness each day to the destroying of lives.
Pain inflicted not by guns and not by knives.
Death is not present, but may come with time.
You see, I am in high school, where kids are at their prime.
I am witness to violence, but not the physical kind.
Poor souls are tortured to the point of losing their minds.
It is not the normal bullying you hear so much about.
There are not big, brawny jerks calling kids out.
Instead it is everyone, adding to the insult.
A fear-stricken, heart-broken child the result.
We all are guilty, teens and society together.
For the tragic deflation of the lives of each other.
