My dabble with Lanturne's.
The Lanturne is a five-line verse shaped like a Japanese lantern with a syllabic pattern of one, two, three, four, one.



Love Lost

Chirps
cried soft
from a dove
perched up high,
lone.



Parched

Dry
as if the
desert floor.
My pallet remains
numb.
