the life that none wants to live a life that has been wasted a life about to end
As I lie here by this old road
No food no water just a lowly old toad
I think of what could have been
If my life wasn’t full of sin
It started with a single beer
But after that I thought I had nothing to fear
It’s all just one big blur now
As I sit here and wonder how
My life could’ve been without beer and drugs and other things
It seemed right for a while before I realized the trouble it brings
I threw away life, love, and all I dreamed
For some weed and the high it brings, or so it seemed
What was I thinking what did I do
I threw away my friends for people I barely even knew
What did school matter it was just some dumb trap
Just to make us sit there and listen to all the teachers crap
But now I know what it was for
To open a door to a new world where we could soar
To help you avoid I life like mine
I’ve lived a wasted life…I’m out of time
