Everyone has been here
My tears illustrate a first loves loss
My pillow dampened with heart felt sadness
I feel the pain, I feel the sorrow
Right now it feels like there will be no tomorrow
Your beauty bounds my heart by the chains
I’m a prisoner to your incredible gaze
I see an ocean and I feel the breeze
Your eyes make me wonder if your heart is meant for me
There’s a new day upon me, a new feeling of sight
I open my eyes and crush this door
That you blocked with all your might
Life isn’t fair, it’s far from it
It’s an incurable disease, one without medication
I fall to my knees with an intense sense of humiliation
I become weak in your arms, they created an addiction
I felt safe in this castle as long as your my queen
Although we were young and quite frankly stupid
I tell myself that it was worth it
A lesson in life and a milestone in love
Today and tomorrow you will always be my first love
