Flight

Lift my spirits, now I soar
while unconscious I see more
slipping through the knots in time
life a memory so sublime
smile sweetly, not to fret
pay my problems while in debt
criss cross, zig zag
spinning nerves
much to feel, yet not deserve
slowly shut down all that's left
empty brain cells stored and kept
float and swim within my mind
draining me till I am blind
vision of ignorance floods my eyes
