Moving to another town
More Moving Memories

The house is sold its all wrapped up
All that’s left are the basic necessities and a coffee cup
The new family walks through they ah they ooh
I love what you’ve done, what else can you do
My home is now theirs, I suppose no one cares
There is nothing of me here, not even a chair

I sit on the floor and view all the space
We had such happy times, here in this place
The moving guys are here to take it all away
There is no reason to be here no reason to stay
All reminders are gone from this life we knew
But the memories are there some happy some blue

There is a new life to start just across town
In our little chalet with trees all around
I thought id be sad leaving this place
But it’s mine no more and I need more space
Spaces to run, jump and ride like the wind
A space where a new healthy life can begin

A place for healing the insanity badge I wear
A place for removing the pain that I bare
There are very few people who will come out that far
There will be no need to hide my hideous scars
Free to be me and do whatever I please
Just me with my horse surrounded by trees

I’ll leave this home and have no regrets
I’ll pack up my stuff and pack up the pets
I’ll smile and wave and say my goodbyes
No one will see the tears in my eyes.
