The joys of children in winter.
The leaves start falling off the trees,
When fall' it came a knocking'
And everybody was running about,
When the trees,all started rocking.
They shook and shimmered"all day long'
The cold wind"it froze their roots"
Their branches started falling off,
And the Sun's ray,they withstood'
Winter came along,much later,
Children playing,here and there,
Good old winter,was just starting,
But the young ones"didn't seem to care"
OH' 'the joy of growing children,
How they love the falling snow,
But the headaches, that they cause us,
It has just begun to show.
I am thankful that the "Winter",
Only comes,but once a year,
"So I know, that I've been blessed,
And I thank "The Lord" I'm here.
