A shy girl who gets picked on in school writes her POV to her peers.
Do you know me?
Why do you mock me?
Why do you persecute me?

You see me sitting with my few friends.
You think I'm "dorky."
You ignore me.
You quickly brush past me without care.
You quickly glance at me in the hall and see nothing is wrong,
when every night I go home and cry myself to sleep.

Why do you mock me?
Why do you persecute me?

I'm not invited to the cool parties.
I am invisible.
I don't wear what's cool and
my hair isn't perfect everyday.
I'm the so called loner.
Why do you persecute me?

You smile at me often, but how many wounds have you stabbed in my back.
Why do you mock me?

Sometimes it feels as though the entire world is spinning around as fast as can be, with me standing on the outside looking in.

Sometimes it hurts,
sometimes it hurts even more.
Why are the meek always mocked and persecuted such as Jesus was?
Well let me tell you,
your sneers and persecutions won't matter anymore some day,
and the meek shall come to conquer the world!

So tell me please,
how could you mock me?
How could you persecute me.....
if you don't even know me?
